Chicago to Asheville!

Personal Travel

We have made the long 11 hour drive to Asheville, NC from Chicago, IL! It is time for a new journey and be back in the mountains where the air is fresh and time slow again. Our dog, Trapper, is especially happy to be back on the trails and out of the hustle and bustle. Although I will forever miss our bike friendly city. Chicago was good to us over the past year. We will miss the friends and memories made in the Midwest. Now, it is time to embrace the smoky mountains and get my landscape photography back! I am very excited and hopefully will have some images of bears, mountains and nature again! As a photographer, it literally fills my soul back with happiness!

These are the landscapes photographers dream about.   Frying Pan Tower Lookout - Mile Marker 409.6

The full adventure was deciding to adopt a 9 week old puppy right before leaving. Crazy times. We succeeded in viewing 25 states starting in Montana and ending in New York. Basically a big horseshoe around the U.S. I would not trade that time for anything and on the coldest of day (like today) it is refreshing to look back on the images and videos and remember my greatest advent ...
