Fall Foliage on the Parkway

Professional Travel

What a day to see the Blue Ridge Parkway! The leaves are in prime form. It snowed just about 30 minutes after this picture was taken. Asheville went from a warm fall to a quick burst of winter. It was an amazing way to experience the seasons. This image has been on my mind every time I pass it on the parkway. The conditions were just right to capture the image I wanted.

What a beautiful day in January for a wedding and the first song by The Avett brothers "January Wedding" had me singing and chocked up all at the same time.
