November Wedding – Blue Ridge Parkway

Professional Wedding

WEDDINGS ARE THE BEST! You never have to tell someone to show emotion. The emotions are everywhere! And beautiful to capture. Maybe thats why I have such a joy photographing people on their wedding day. Holly & Greg eloped November 12, 2018 on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville. It was overcast and drizzling. We drove to several locations to find the right fit. Craggy Gardens was first choice but it was in a cloud (no views). Later we drove past this gem of a spot. It was right off the road. People slowed down to see the couple. Several honked and offered their congratulations. It was a very special moment. Even though we could have done without the drizzle, it made for some dreamy images. My favorite! Congrats Holly & Greg! We were happy to have you here in Asheville.

Barn at Honeysuckle Hill – Asheville
Bianca + Jeff Hot, hot, hot! We had a scorcher of a wedding. But no amount of heat would drive these two apart from exchanging their vows at Honeysuckle hill in Asheville. The barn was an amazing location for the ceremony. This venue has done an amazing job at transforming an old barn into wedding gold! Bianca and Jeff celebrated with friends and family. My favorite photo EVER of a father daughter dance was taken. I mean just look at Bianca and her dad. Literally crying my eyes out. This was a special day of love and celebration!
Asheville – Backyard Wedding
Amey + Conor These two love birds had a beautiful backyard wedding in Asheville. July is typically a brutally hot time of year for Asheville weddings (and most other states) but this was by far my most cool wedding of the summer. The rain held off and they won the wedding lottery! It's always hard to plan an outdoor wedding in Asheville because the rain here can be so unpredictable. You take the gamble. The forecast can call for thunderstorms all day but the day turns out wonderful. Or worse, it rains all day and no amount of weather men could have ever predicted it. Especially if you are high in the mountains. Amey and Conor where able ...
Illinois Wedding
A good old fashion Illinois Wedding surrounded by the family walnut farm. The theme was craft beer and the day was hot but one of the most beautiful days imaginable. The first dance was kicked off with fireworks. What a wonderful day! A big congratulations to Erin & Eddy who shared an amazing day with friends and family..
