November Wedding – Blue Ridge Parkway

Professional Wedding

WEDDINGS ARE THE BEST! You never have to tell someone to show emotion. The emotions are everywhere! And beautiful to capture. Maybe thats why I have such a joy photographing people on their wedding day. Holly & Greg eloped November 12, 2018 on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville. It was overcast and drizzling. We drove to several locations to find the right fit. Craggy Gardens was first choice but it was in a cloud (no views). Later we drove past this gem of a spot. It was right off the road. People slowed down to see the couple. Several honked and offered their congratulations. It was a very special moment. Even though we could have done without the drizzle, it made for some dreamy images. My favorite! Congrats Holly & Greg! We were happy to have you here in Asheville.

Everyone on Craggy Pinnacle was photographing the beautiful sunset and only a select few of us knew of the moon coming up. It was going to be amazing. I chatted with a couple enjoying cheese and opening a bottle of wine. They played "Harvest Moon" by Neil Young just as a spark of red shown through the mountains. The moon popped out and was quiet the show.

Illinois Wedding
A good old fashion Illinois Wedding surrounded by the family walnut farm. The theme was craft beer and the day was hot but one of the most beautiful days imaginable. The first dance was kicked off with fireworks. What a wonderful day! A big congratulations to Erin & Eddy who shared an amazing day with friends and family..

Brewery Wedding – Asheville
Lauren and Chris were married in Asheville at Highland Brewery. That is so Asheville of them! The brewery was a perfect setting to express the love they have for one another. The rooftop had amazing views of the surrounding mountains to snap couples shots after the wedding while the production line inside the brewery was stunning for the first look. What a beautiful day in January for a wedding and the first song by The Avett brothers "January Wedding" had me singing and chocked up all at the same time.
