November Wedding – Blue Ridge Parkway

Professional Wedding

WEDDINGS ARE THE BEST! You never have to tell someone to show emotion. The emotions are everywhere! And beautiful to capture. Maybe thats why I have such a joy photographing people on their wedding day. Holly & Greg eloped November 12, 2018 on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville. It was overcast and drizzling. We drove to several locations to find the right fit. Craggy Gardens was first choice but it was in a cloud (no views). Later we drove past this gem of a spot. It was right off the road. People slowed down to see the couple. Several honked and offered their congratulations. It was a very special moment. Even though we could have done without the drizzle, it made for some dreamy images. My favorite! Congrats Holly & Greg! We were happy to have you here in Asheville.

Harvest Moon
The Harvest Moon was going to peak over the mountains exactly as the sun began to set. I chatted with a couple enjoying cheese and opening a bottle of wine. They played "Harvest Moon" by Neil Young just as a spark of red shown through the mountains. The moon popped out and was quiet the show.

First Birthday – Photo Session
Nayeli turns 1! This sweet baby girl turns one and we had an awesome photo session last month in the park to celebrate. She was full of laughs and personality. Particularly loving the balloons mama brought for her. These are truly the funnest photo sessions! You can't force a baby to smile. It all comes from just the right funny noise and sound mom knows you like. Excited to see Baby Nayeli keep growing and sharing that adorable smile of hers to others.
